ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Many organizations, businesses, faculty members, donors, students and volunteers invested their time, energy, and gestures of assistance to this project. We would like to thank everyone who participated in any aspect of this project. Our group remains extremely humbled and endlessly grateful for every person who made this project what it was, we couldn't have done it without any of these remarkable supporters!

We would also like to thank every student who participated in our activities with enthusiasm to learn and an open mind, and also for sharing their creativity, their unique ideas and their time with us. They are the reason we began working on the project and continued to inspire us throughout the course of this experience. It was an unforgettably humbling experience to watch these students learn, and all the while teach us more then we could have ever expected.
Community Partners
We would like to thank Pacific Tree Climbing Institute Facilitators for their time and effort leading and managing tree climbs at HJ Andrews. The PTCI ensured a safe and enthusiastic environment for the tree climbs at HJ Andrews, we could have never done this without them.
Rob Miron
We also want to thank HJ Andrews Experimental Forest Employees for providing an encouraging and eventful environment for which students can learn about old-growth ecology. This forest is extremely significant and delicate, and we are so thankful that the operators of this forest initiate and support such influential learning programs for the youth.

ELP Facilitator-Environmental Education projects
Kathryn Lynch (Co-Director of the Environmental Leadership Program): Through thick and thin Katie was present for support, and has taught us many applicable skills to use while teaching and in the professional world. We thank her for her constructive criticism, in which has shaped our curriculum for the better, as well as being a mentor throughout the process. Katie has put forth countless hours not just to us, but to the entire function of the Environmental Leadership Program, and without her contributions, this program would not exist.
Graduate Teaching Fellow Participants
Kassandra Hishida
We want to thank Kassandra for her consistently supportive feedback on our curriculum, and her overall contributions to the efforts of this project as a whole. Furthermore we would like to thank her for volunteering her time and energy to teach along side our Canopy Connections team on Fridays. Kassandra was a vital addition to our group function by providing us guidance and helpful feedback throughout the progression of this project.
Nick Dreher
We would also like to recognize Nick and his influential contributions to this team. Nick put forth many hours of his time to overseeing the success of our team functions. Nick has proved to be an exceptional leader through our projects and he was extremely helpful in guiding us with positive feedback, constructive advice and hands on reinforcement.
Furthermore, we would like to extend our immense gratitude to Kassandra and Nick for their extra contribution of helping us facilitate field trips every week when a few of our members unexpectedly left the program. Without their willingness to step up and give extra help, the project would not have been able to continue as planned.

Volunteers
We would like to also thank the many volunteers who offered their time, energy and assistance during our project. We are immensely grateful for the chaperones, the pilot volunteers, and all other participants who committed their time and energy to the operation and successful outcomes of this program.
Springfield High School Students
Our team was tremendously lucky to receive the assistance of Springfield High School student volunteers. They provided us with much needed assistance during the field trips by taking photos, providing an extra helping hand, and teaching us lessons along the way. We are incredibly grateful to have acted as mentors to such a unique and intelligent group of students, and we were humbled to find that as the project progressed, these students were vital to our overall success through providing insightful ideas, improvements, and reflections. We learned a great deal from these students, and we are gratified by their contribution to this project.
Donors
We would like to thank the many donors who have allowed this project and many other projects like this to thrive. Without the gracious donations provided to us by our donors, this project would not be what it is, and for that we are incredibly thankful.
